Urgent Care, Quick Check
Park Nicollet Urgent Care provides same-day care for medical problems and injuries that need a doctor’s attention, but are not life-threatening. Care also is available for patients without an established primary care doctor and visitors or new residents.
Park Nicollet Urgent Care works in partnership with Park Nicollet Clinic to provide timely care and access to specialty care. Most hospital services are provided at Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital. We will help arrange follow-up care with your primary care clinician, if needed.
What to expect
Patients are seen in order of arrival, but patients with more serious problems will be seen first. Wait-times also are affected by large numbers of patients during seasonal illness outbreaks. The clinic receptionist will be able to address your wait-time questions. You also can check current wait-times by visiting parknicollet.com and viewing the Urgent Care column on the right side of the screen.
Quick Check
Quick Check is located in all Park Nicollet Urgent Care locations and is a faster-care alternative for patients with minor ailments and illnesses such as sore throat, ear pain, sinus pressure, irritated eyes (pink eye), bladder or urinary infections.
When to go to an emergency center
Some medical situations are best served by going immediate to an emergency center. Call 911 or go directly to the closest emergency center if you experience:
-
heart-related problems
-
chest pain
-
stroke symptoms
-
severe shortness of breath
Urgent Care is not equipped to treat these symptoms.
