We encourage you to stay with the new mother from labor to postpartum care to provide comfort and assistance to her and the baby. The links to the right can help you provide the best support to the expectant mother.

As the birth of a baby can be stressful for the new mother, she will need support to receive and, if needed, limit visitors. We welcome visitors, but ask them to review and respect our guidelines.

Food

Meals are delivered to the mother’s room around 8 a.m., noon and 5 p.m. Extra patient snacks or beverages are available in the Family Birth Center kitchen.

If you wish to join mother and baby for a meal, food or snacks can be brought from home or purchased in the Creekside Cafeteria, Meadows Gift Shop & Café , Muffin Man café or in nearby restaurants.

Vending machines also are located near the cafeteria.

Other amenities
