It is important to be familiar with the terms of your insurance coverage. Policies vary, and you should contact your carrier or employer if you have questions. By doing this as early as possible, you can concentrate on the most important part of your hospital stay – having your baby.

Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital has a financial aid program for eligible patients who have no insurance. Help also is available to assist you in applying for Medicaid or other government assistance programs.

Methodist Hospital billing process

Methodist Hospital sends the bill to your insurance company and allows 45 days for payment. Methodist Hospital sends you a bill for copayments or deductibles, and if claims are denied by your insurance company. Patient balances are due within 30 days from the billing date. Methodist accepts personal checks and Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards.
