Inpatient treatment program
The inpatient hospital program, located on the eighth floor of Methodist Hospital, offers 24-hour medical care and structured therapeutic activities for medically unstable patients. Our inpatient program is not a psychiatric or locked unit; it is a medical floor. Patients wear their own clothes, and we encourage them to bring things that will make their room feel more like home, such as comforters, pictures or other treasured items. There is no set length of time that a person stays in the inpatient program; people stay an average of two weeks, depending on their individual treatment plan.
