Are you at risk for an eating disorder?*

Learn to love yourself
»   When you look in the mirror, catch yourself before you say something negative. Instead, say something positive. It will feel better.

»   Keep a "Top 10" list of things you already like about yourself, on the outside and the inside. Add to your list often.

»   Eat when you are hungry. Rest when you are tired. Surround yourself with people and possessions that remind you of your inner strength and beauty.

Do you …

  • skip at least one meal a day?
  • count calories and fat grams every time you eat or drink?
  • constantly think about food, weight or body image?
  • label foods “good” and “bad"?
  • vomit after eating or use laxatives or diuretics to keep your weight down?
  • worry about what your last meal is doing to your body?
  • weigh yourself every day?
  • determine your mood for the entire day based on the number on your scale?
  • exercise because you have to, not because you want to?
  • exercise more than 45 minutes, five times each week with the goal of burning calories?
  • exercise to lose weight even if you are ill or injured?
