Physician consultation

Board-certified neurologists with expertise in Parkinson’s disease provide diagnostic consultations, second-opinion consultations or assessments to establish ongoing care for new patients.

During this one to 1½ - hour consultation, patients meet with a nurse clinician to review their medical histories, followed by an examination and discussion with a neurologist. Whenever possible, patients should obtain a referral from their primary care doctors so center staff can work closely with them for the best possible results.
