Rehabilitation services
Physical, occupational and speech therapies are important components of a comprehensive treatment and management program for patients with Parkinson’s disease. Center therapists specialize in assessing and treating Parkinson’s and related movement disorders.
Physical therapists work to improve walking, balance and endurance, and design appropriate exercise programs to enhance mobility.
Occupational therapists help maximize self-care, independence, work and leisure interests, and daily tasks through compensation strategies and adaptive equipment.
Speech pathologists improve voice volume, speech clarity and swallowing function.
To schedule an appointment with a rehabilitation therapist, call the center at 952-993-5495 or toll-free at 952-993-5495. A doctor’s referral usually is required for insurance reimbursement.
