Tests

A CT is a special camera that helps us see the inside of the body.

If any tests or procedures are needed at Methodist Hospital, the child-life specialist can assist parents and their children before, during and after the test or procedure. The specialist can show parents comforting techniques and offer suggestions for preparing children. Whether tests involve drawing blood or are more extensive, such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), the child-life specialist helps ease fears during these situations.
