About us
Park Nicollet is committed to translating and disseminating the results of clinical and health-services research and care-improvement activities regionally and nationally. The Office of Continuing Medical Education (CME), Park Nicollet Institute is nationally accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. We provide a comprehensive program of conferences, workshops, seminars, lectures, department lecture series, hospital grand rounds, enduring materials and print and Web resources to meet its mission and goals. Our programs attract about 7,000 participants per year.
A major focus for the Office of CME is the development and implementation of a two-year curriculum of conference updates covering all major areas of medical practice over that period of time for primary care providers. These updates draw participants from the Midwest region, and feature faculty from Park Nicollet Health Services and other organizations who are leaders in developing and testing new therapies and models of care.
In addition, our CME program staff work with all Park Nicollet Health Services centers of excellence and medical departments to help them meet their education-related goals. We also provide a wide variety of resources to support the personal learning and point-of-care information needs of our professional staff.
