Group prenatal care by certified nurse-midwives

CenteringPregnancy’s group prenatal care is a new option at Park Nicollet during pregnancy. Each group includes 10 to 12 women expecting babies around the same time, and is lead by a CNM. Groups meet for two-hour sessions, at regular intervals, throughout pregnancy. Each session includes private time with your midwife and then group discussion about common concerns, such as nutrition, relationships, breastfeeding, labor and delivery.

Centering groups currently are offered at three Park Nicollet Clinic locations: Brookdale, Meadowbrook and Minneapolis. You can join when you are 16 to 20 weeks pregnant. Session schedules vary.
