Description

Primary care providers are increasingly responsible for diabetes management and education. This requires extensive knowledge of the natural history of diabetes and treatment options, plus the ability to help patients gain expertise in successfully managing their disease day-to-day.

This program uses lectures and interactive learning activities to communicate treatment options, based on the latest research and clinically-proven therapies. The content is continually updated and new topics are added regularly. If you attended this program several years ago, it may be time for a refresher on the latest research, technology and practices.

Credit hours

The Office of Continuing Medical Education, Park Nicollet Institute, designates this educational activity for a maximum of 12.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
