About us

At Park Nicollet Frauenshuh Cancer Center, patients really are at the center of everything we do. In fact, when we constructed the center, we used input from patients and care teams to design a revolutionary layout – bringing all services to the patient. Learn more about our patient advisory board and decision-making process.

This innovative design means patients stay in their rooms for nurse and doctor visits, lab draws, treatment and support services – music therapy, spiritual care or family therapy – whatever they need. This way, patients conserve energy for what is most important to them.

Full range of services

We offer a full range of services and state-of-the-art technology to fight cancer, including surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy. Cancer care and treatment is personalized for each patient, and both family and patient can benefit from services, including psychotherapy, support and education – all in the patient’s room, all in one center. Natural healing environment

In addition, Frauenshuh Cancer Center is a place of healing and hope, with strong ties to nature. LEED-based construction provides our community with a green, environmentally sustainable facility. Sandra’s Garden of Hope features two acres of green space and inspiring beauty. Spending time in nature or healing gardens can lower blood pressure for many patients, and speed recovery.

Award-winning care

At Frauenshuh Cancer Center, we deliver award-winning care to our patients. In 2008, we received multiple awards and commendations from Commission on Cancer (CoC), an industry-recognized cancer care evaluator. Frauenshuh naming

Frauenshuh Cancer CenterDavid and Sandra Frauenshuh are helping change the way cancer care is delivered at Park Nicollet. As lead donors of our new facility, the Frauenshuh family plays an active role in developing environments best for patients and their loved ones. “This is a place where everyone’s experience will be focused on quality of life,” David says. “For us, this project is about more than a building, it is about improving lives any way possible – medically, emotionally and spiritually,” Sandra adds.
