Our physicians and other providers work together as a team to address your complex medical concerns. Patients can access care in more than 45 specialties and subspecialties, ranging from Family Practice to Cardiology and Neurosurgery.

Requesting a referral to see a non-Park Nicollet Clinic specialist

Typically, referrals are given only if the care is not available at Park Nicollet Clinic.

You should discuss your referral request with your primary care physician. If care is available at Park Nicollet Clinic, your primary care physician will refer you to a Park Nicollet Clinic specialist. If our specialist determines that your care needs are best met outside Park Nicollet, he or she will facilitate a referral.

If you were seen in Park Nicollet Urgent Care or Methodist Hospital Emergency Center and told you needed to see a specialist, you may call a Park Nicollet specialist to make an appointment.

Park Nicollet Clinic has 20 locations. You may see providers at any of these locations. Your medical record will automatically be available at the location of your appointment.

Many insurance plans ask its members to designate a primary clinic or clinic system. The expectation is that the clinic system will meet the majority of a patient's care needs within that clinic and its associated specialists.
