About us

Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital's Family Birth Center in St. Louis Park, Minn., offers 19 private and fully equipped labor, delivery and recovery suites designed for optimal patient comfort, safety and privacy. Our innovative facility is staffed by nearly 200 professionals and can accommodate vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including vaginal birth after cesarean, mothers requiring specialized care and babies born premature or with special needs. The Family Birth Center staff delivers more than 3,500 babies every year.

We aim to provide quality, family focused care while meeting the needs of parent, baby and family during childbirth. Our goal is to promote wellness and strengthen families. We help families adapt to new roles through physical, emotional, social and spiritual support.
