An eye exam by your optometrist or ophthalmologist alone cannot produce a prescription for contact lenses. You must also schedule an appointment with a contact lens technician and complete the fitting process before an order can be placed.
If you have already been fitted, have a valid prescription (one that has been written within the last 12 months) and simply want to reorder, you can purchase lenses directly from any contact lens store. At Park Nicollet, you can purchase online or in-store at one of our eight contact lens department locations.
Once the fitting process is complete, you will receive your prescription to use at the Contact Lens Store @ Park Nicollet or at an independent merchant.
Park Nicollet offers you reorder options. You can order online or by calling customer service, 952-993-1512. You can opt to have your lenses shipped directly to your home or business. You also can stop by our Contact Lens Store @ Park Nicollet locations.
No. Fees are usually not covered by insurance, unless the contact lenses serve a special therapeutic purpose. Check with your insurance plan for coverage information.
Professional fees and contact lens product fees are separate. If you are being fit or refit into contact lenses, professional fees will vary depending on the complexity of the fitting. (Note: You will be informed of the fitting fee at the time of service, before the fitting begins. )
