My Areas of Practice
I am passionate about partnering with my patients to assist them in improving their quality of life and overall well-being. My approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and collaborative. Rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Theory, and mindfulness, I assist my patients in cultivating self-efficacy, personal awareness, and other skills needed to reach their personal goals. My areas of expertise are women's health issues as well as co-occurring disorders, including various mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and medical health complexities. Some of my additional areas of interest include perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD, self-esteem difficulties, and life transitions. I also enjoy working with family members and loved ones of individuals living with mental illnesses and substance use difficulties. I am a member of the Park Nicollet Women's Reproductive Mental Health Program which has a focus on helping women who are struggling with mental health concerns related to pregnancy, postpartum, fertility issues, and infant loss.

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, born and raised in the Twin Cities. My practice experience stems primarily from residential treatment settings, as well as work in outpatient clinic settings. In my free time I enjoy cycling, trying new recipes, golfing, listening to podcasts, and spending time outside with my two black labs, Lucky and Stella.
