Academy for Eating Disorders

I enjoy many areas of psychology, but am most interested in health-related change, particularly with weight and eating problems. I have specialized in eating disorders for the past 11 years. People young and old impacted by eating disorders are really incredible individuals with many talents. I particularly enjoy working with them to help them realize their full potential. I am passionate about teaching others about eating disorders, the prevention of eating disorders and how societal messages impact our beliefs and attitudes about food, weight, and body image. Prior to joining Park Nicollet, I served 5 years in the Unites States Navy as an active duty psychologist and have a vast array of experiences, both professionally and personally, from this. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, traveling, cooking, and photography.
