My Areas of Practice
I love family medicine because of the wide range of people I meet, from infants to teens to adults of all ages, and chose the field because there are so few areas of medicine that I don't find fascinating. I really enjoy the long-term relationships I develop with my patients and I place great importance on knowing my patients as people. It is also important to me to provide individualized care that works for them, combining evidence based medicine and the latest in medical technology and knowledge with practicality and common sense. I am married and live with my husband and three young sons in Bloomington. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, geocaching, serving as a leader in Cub Scouting, and learning about nearly everything. I've been particularly fascinated by the Maker movement and our family enjoys trying to put things together for fun and education, and just to learn new skills.
