Personal

I enjoy family medicine because of the unique opportunities it provides - the opportunity to work with patients of all ages, to care for their colds, chronic diseases and to get to know and care for their families, as well. I find it extremely rewarding to be able to diagnose and treat a fussy infant's ear infection and them turn my attention to helping an elderly patient manage issues with diabetes and high blood pressure. My special interests include pediatrics, women's health, preventive care, sports injuries and diabetes care. When I am not working, I enjoy hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, reading and spending time with my husband and children.
