My Areas of Practice
I am honored to be able to provide Neurosurgical Care to the patients of the Park Nicollet/Health Partners System. I have special interests in minimally invasive neurosurgery, cervical and lumbar disc replacement (arthroplasty), and brain tumors. My residency included subspecialty training in Surgery Critical Care and I maintain board certifications in Neurosurgery, Surgery Critical Care, and Neurocritical Care. I maintain active research interests with collaborators at Creighton University (Omaha, Nebraska) and The Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN). Lastly, have consulted on the development of biomedical implants and instrumentation.

I grew up in Central Minnesota and went to the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, MN) for my undergraduate degree where I met my wife. We have four children and when I am not at work we can be found watching their athletic events.
