I am a native Minnesotan who grew up near Little Falls. I went to medical school at the University of Iowa and completed my urology training at the University of Minnesota.
My interests in urology are broad (I enjoy it all), but have a special interest in the area of robotic and laparoscopic surgery. I have been doing robotic prostate and kidney surgery since 2006 and have done hundreds of surgeries using the da Vinci robotic system. I also have an interest in endourology dealing with kidney stone diease and using a variety of approaches to treating them. My philosophy on being a surgeon is to, above all, be a good listener and partner with the patient to help us solve their urologic problem.
